External Circlips are semi-flexible metal rings designed to fit into a machined groove on the outside of a shaft or pin.
Unlike Internal Circlips (which expand outward inside a bore), External Circlips exert continuous inward radial pressure. They act as a removable shoulder, creating a rigid barrier that prevents components from sliding axially along the shaft.
